Introduction to Digital Planning for Guided Implant Placement 

About this Seminar

This lecture is designed for the General Dentist who wishes to incorporate dental implant surgery into their practice. Guided implant surgery can be more accurate and take less clinical time than traditional implant placement. However, poor planning and a lack of understanding of the digital guided implant process can have the potential to lead to server complications. This introductory lecture will provide a general overview of the digital planning process in preparation for guided implant placement.

About Dr. Michael Parchewsky 

D.M.D., FAGD, D. ABDSM

Dr. Parchewsky completed an Honors degree in Physiology from the University of Alberta and a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from the University of Saskatchewan including surgical extern programs at the University of Florida and the University of Texas Health Science Center. Completing a one-year Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Fellowship at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, Dr. Parchewsky provides oral surgery and IV sedation procedures in multiple dental offices. His main focus is CAD/CAM  and 3D Cone beam dentistry for implants, TMJ, restorative and sleep dentistry. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dental Sleep Medicine and a mentor for the Charkeducation Sleep Apnea Study Club. His paper on the treatment of sleep apnea with a Digital Workflow was published in Oral Health Journal. Dr. Parchewsky is the Chief Clinical Officer for the Passion Dental Group and beta tester/ KOL for Dentsply Sirona. He is involved with several organizations that provide volunteer dental and surgical procedures in third world locations such as Columbia, Costa Rica, Peru and Nicaragua.
